Uses: Solid filling for size, great for monogram
- Bring the needle to 1, down to 2, then back to 1 on the right side and 2 on the bottom right.
- Place stitches nearby to fill the area.
- Make sure the yarn is flat and with no twist to create a smooth look.
Tip:
- To increase the stitch, the inside of the outline of the shape before starting the stretch.
Padded Satin Stitch
Usage: Solid filling for size.
- Sew a bunch of seed stitches.
- Sew the satin stitch to create a nice raised look.
Usage: Filling large shapes especially when choosing color shading.
- First work in a row of long and short satin stitches. Keep the top edge of the design line even.
- Work the second row of long and length stitches on the short stitch of the first row by passing the needle through the next upper stitch tip.
- Continue sewing rows until the shape is nearly filled and the last row of long stitches are not worked along the bottom of the design line.
- Sew the last row with short stitch to fill the open space at the bottom.
Tip:
- To achieve shading, change the color of the thread by row.
