Fly Stitch

Uses: Sew rows on edges or singly in accents, plants and plants, decorative lines, rows for attractive filling.
- Move down 1 to 2 down by leaving a loop.
- With a needle on the S and loop at 3, pull the thread to give it a V shape
- Go down to 4 to anchor the V shape.

Tip:
- Anchor stitch lengths to form a Y.






Seed Stitch


Uses: Fill background textures such as spaces, flower centers, leaves, snow and sand.

As well as two small stitches and randomly placed to fill a region.
- 1 and 2 below.
- 3 and below 4.
- Keep grouping the stitches together randomly and at different angles so that they spread like seeds.

Tip:
- Sew even in rows for a decorative border stitch.








 French Knot 

Uses: Decorative dots, flower centers, leaves, plants, eyes filled.
- Bring the needle up 1.
- Hold the thread tout in the other hand and fasten the thread twice to the end of the needle.
- Slowly pull the thread so that the wrap threads tighten and hold, add 1 side sert to the needle the pull the thread backwards until the knot is formed and securely lie on the surface.


Tip:
- To make a larger knot, wrap the thread around the needle a couple of extra times or use a thicker thread.
