Upright Cross Stitch
Uses: Borders, Fillings, Decorative.
- Work from left to right.
- Make index stitches down to 1 and down to 2.
- Create a vertical stitch to bring your needle up to 3 and down to 4.
- Bring your needle into 5 and bottom 6 to create the next straight cross stitch.
- Bring your needle down to 7 and down to 8.
- Continue sewing.







Herringbone Stitch
Usage: border, edge can be stitched on a ribbon or bread to hold it.
- Work from left to right.
- Bring the needle up at 1, and down at 2.
- Move down to 3 and down to 4 to create longer cross stitch.
- Bring the needle to 5 and continue.

Tip:
- Mark two parallel lines with a water-soluble pen to keep the stitch height equal.







 Chevron Stitch
Usage: border, edge can be stitched on a ribbon or bread to hold it.
- Work from left to right.
- Bring the needle up to 1, down to 2.
- Bring back the needle tip through the fabric in the middle of 3 to 1 point.
- Bring the needle up to 4 and make a backstitch with your needle 5 to the bottom 6.
- Move the tip of your needle through the fabric from point to and between.
- Lower your needle to 8 and repeat the stitching sequence.
Tip:
