3. Embroidery Your Hat
I tackle this flowery embroidery design while soaring to New York. Seriously, this strength be the best plane DIY I’ve found to date. It’s small and *just* time- intense enough. And most airlines permit small scissors on board, so cutting embroidery fiber is a certainty. Find some of B+ C’s favorite embroidery pattern here!

4. DIY: Heart Embroidery for Beginners
An embroidery sampler is created as a demonstration or test of skill in needlework. It’s the perfect way to do different kinds of stitches and make something beautiful at the same time.
There are hundreds of different types of embroidery stitches in continuation. For this beginner project, I’ve chosen just seven: three basic outline stitches (Running Stitch, Back Stitch and Chain Stitch) and four ornamental stitches (Threaded Running Stitch, Cross Stitch, Star Stitch and Fern Stitch). To make these stitches as easy to study as possible I’ve integrated both photos with written directions and a video connection for each stitch.
