7. DIY Embroidered Notebook
1. Cut the abrade paper to the size of your notebook and then make a conclusion on the design you’d like to go with and draft it out on your scratch paper. I knew I wanted a simple triangle design so I just free hand the dot where I knew I would end up punch through.

2. Open the notebook cover & leave it level over your exterior fortification. Make sure your scrape paper (now your pattern) is crumpled up where you would like your design to be & carefully punch through the prototype and through the notebook enfold.

3. Fiber your embroidery needle leaving a higher size addition and don’t knot either end. Choose where you will start, for my design I started in the center. Shove the threaded needle through the surrounded by of the notebook cover & drag until you have a small conclusion left, tape that downstairs on the inside of the cover with your washy tape. For this design I used the back stitch, so I made my first single directly stitch, continued to my next gap in the pattern, but came up a hole ahead so I could carry the needle back down the same hole at the end of the last stitch I made. Continue until you’re finished and tape down the end of the thread once you’re done. And there you have it, designs are nonstop so just have enjoyable with it!

8. DIY Embroidered Instagrams
Materials
•    Printed Instagrams (these squares from SPS are the way to go!)
•    embroidery needle
•    embroidery thread
•    thimble (optional)
•    pencil
•    scissors
•    Step 1: In pencil, flippantly sketch out a design on your Instagram. It’s fun to draw something that add to the photo, like a sun in an outside photo or an extra flower in a garden.
•    Step 2: With a needle, punch holes along all of your drawn appearance. Make a hole at also end of each line, and s swiftness them about 2-3 mm apart in among.
•    Step 3: Embroider through the holes using a back stitch. There’s a great illustration for a back stitch right here! Fundamentally! you work right to left. Start your first stitch by coming up through the back and down through the frontage. Make an additional stitch by coming up through the hole to the left of your last stitch, then down through your first hole, which previously has a thread through it.
•    Step 4: Keep embroidering until your design is finished! Tie your filament at the back of the photo and nick the ends.
