31 Crewel embroidery

32 Mount kellick work
This is a type of embroidery that uses white embroidery thread on white fabric and uses raise or pad stitches. The work was residential in Ireland. The use of changeable width of fiber create a beautifully textured consequence. It is too known as fine white work and refers to fragile work done on two layers of fine linen with a layer of net in between. Different techniques like drawn fiber work and open work as well as net restoration are done on the fabric.

You will have to ensure that there are no knots or back stitches; then drawing the design on the net is another challenge to be mastered.

34 Stump work
This is a kind of padded embroidery with a 3 D look. This work combines silk work, gold work, counted work, flat & raised stitching, bead work, padding and needle lace to create the result of ledge and exterior.

This is a type of embroidery which is done with blue thread touching a conditions of white fabric.


36 Couching
