Some Step to Embriodery ...2

Step 4: How to Do the Running Stitch

Complete just as it is in regular embroidery. You can make the stitches long or short or randomly placed depending on your intend.
I use this stitch for frame and embroidery design, or for things that I want to appear open and airy. I don't counsel this as much for text, because it can be a little too spacey.
You can moreover do the typical up and down, or push the needle through and make several stitches at once. For new embroiderers, I recommend using the up and down method just until you get the hang of spacing.

Step 5: How to Do the Back stitch

I utilize this stitch all the time for text. It make the text easier to read and it's more homogeneous. I too use it for whichever outline on drawing because it makes the outlines nice and crusty.
I use a somewhat distorted back stitch for embroidery - it keep the back neater and foliage less gloomy lines that show through to the face.
Here's how to back stitch for embroidery:
1.    Bring your needle through to the front of the cloth and take a stitch to the correct.
2.    Take the needle back to the front of the cloth a stitch extent to the right and then pass the needle through to the back of the cloth using the gap at the end of the first stitch. (As exposed in the next snap)
3.    Use the hole at the end of the furthest right stitch to convey the needle back to the front of the cloth.
4.    Do again until you're done!
You can back stitch to the left or the right - but attempt it to the right first to get the tempo down. As long as you keep your stitches still lengths it will seem great!
The most essential thing about back stitching is to create sure you're using the hole that form at the end of a stitch to establish the next stitch anytime you be able to. Take a look at the back of my back stitch - notice how the whole lot is nice and tidy? That's what you want. You'll use less floss that way and keep everything nice and prearranged.
