5 Go back to the front of the fabric and remove the stitches by hand. You can't see the loose threads because of how delicate and rigid the embroidery is. Use your best judgment to find the area you shave, then use a darting needle or seam ripper to lift and remove threads.
a)Slide the needle or seam ripper under the stitch, then pull it upward. Use your fingers to pull the threads out. b) You can scrape it up by nailing your nails short.
6 Repeat the process if needed. At the first pass, everything won't stop, so remove the fabric again, and run your sewing eraser across the rest of the stitch. Take the stitches back to the front.
7 Use a lint roller to remove thread dust from the fabric. If you do not have a lint roller, you can use a piece of lid instead. Make sure you get both the front and back of the fabric. a)This process can reveal a few stuck threads or stitches. In this case, use a sim ripper to take them out.
